Glasgow Neuro is honoured to announce our (CPD accredited!) 10th year Annual Neuro Conference will be held on Saturday the 5th of November 2022 at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Glasgow.
As this year is extra special we have went bigger and better than we have ever done. We have invited world-renowned neurosurgeons, neurologists and neuroscientists leading their fields to deliver talks on topics at the cutting-edge of research and practice.
We are delighted to announce that our keynote speaker for this momentum conference is Professor Gail Rosseau. Professor Rosseau is the Clinical Professor of Neurological Surgery at George Washington University and a co-founder of Women in Neurosurgery in the U.S. During the pandemic, she launched writing groups on every continent, resulting in nearly a dozen recent publications that form a comprehensive history of international women neurosurgeons. In 2021, she was awarded the Humanitarian Award of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. We will announce our other speakers on our social media platforms so follow us on them to keep in the know.
It's not just our talks that have went bigger but so has our workshops. We have an aneurysm clipping workshop which will be very interactive and will give you the opportunity to clip an aneurysm using Zeiss microscopes and BBraun clips. If that is not exciting enough, we have also brought back our beloved intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring workshop from last year's conference with a twist. Similar to last year, this workshop will allow you to get "stuck in" and perform intracranial pressure monitoring on calvariums with brain-like matter using surgical-grade probes. Here comes the twist. In addition to insertion of ICP monitoring you will also get to insert external ventricular drains (EVDs).
If you are still not convinced, this year's conference is also CPD accredited!
